Yes. Every template, the ATS match score, upload & edit, and unlimited PDF downloads are free. There is no paid plan, no trial, no credit card and no watermark — the product has no billing at all.

Can I edit my existing resume?

Yes — upload a PDF, DOCX, TXT or JSON file, or even a photo of a printed resume. Text is extracted on your device and lands straight into editable fields with a live preview. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Will my resume pass ATS screening?

CraftCV templates are built on clean structures that applicant tracking systems parse reliably, and the free ATS check shows which keywords from a job description are covered or missing.

Privacy at a glance (full policy inside the app)

CraftCV is a free resume builder. We collect only what is needed to run the service: account data (name, email, optional avatar — from email sign-up or Google Sign-In), resume content you type or import (parsed on your device), and minimal request metadata (browser, country). We never sell or rent your data, never train AI models on your resume content, and never send marketing email without your opt-in.

• Account data: name, email, salted password hash (email sign-up) or Google profile (name, email, avatar, opaque account ID).
• Resume content: everything you type, optional photo, template choice, layout settings, cover-letter content.
• Files you upload for import: PDF / DOCX / image — processed entirely in your browser; the file itself is not uploaded.
• Usage data: sign-in timestamps, security events, aggregate counts of features used. Google Analytics 4 is used for aggregate traffic measurement. No resume content is sent to Google Analytics; no advertising trackers or fingerprinting.
• Storage: in your browser (localStorage) and in our Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database (encrypted at rest, row-level security). Static hosting by Vercel.
• Sharing: only with sub-processors required to run the service (Supabase, Google for OAuth, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for the OCR engine assets, your own AI endpoint if you enable AI rewrite). Never with recruiters, advertisers, or data brokers.
• Retention: until you delete your data. Account deletion removes everything within 30 days; backups roll off within 30 days; security logs kept for 90 days.
• Your rights: access, correction, deletion, export (JSON download from Settings), withdraw consent, nominate, grievance redressal — email privacy@craftcv.app.
• Children: service is intended for users aged 16+.
• Compliance: IT Act 2000, SPDI Rules 2011, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India). International users: GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA rights honoured.
• Security: TLS 1.2+ everywhere, AES-256 at rest, per-user password salts, login rate limiting, CSP headers, RLS on every database table.

Google Sign-In specifics. CraftCV uses Google OAuth 2.0 with PKCE through Supabase. The only scopes requested are openid email profile. We receive from Google: your email, full name, profile picture URL (optional), and an opaque Google account ID. We do not request or receive contacts, calendar, Gmail, Drive, location, or any other Google data. We do not send any data to Google from your account, and we do not use Google user data for advertising. Google's handling of the data it shares with CraftCV is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use requirements). The OAuth callback URL is your-project.supabase.co/auth/v1/callback and is set in Google Cloud Console exactly.
